Change is Constant
Embodied exploration through movement and yoga lead to empowerment and release. These private sessions are facilitated and directed with your personal growth and goals at the center. You will work with personal as well as larger social and ecological themes to discover your body's power and grace.

Our movement work is based on a Jungian therapy approach called Authentic Movement in which a person explores body movement without background music. The invitation is to listen for and experience the internal urges of the body and allow them to express and complete. The psyche will naturally show itself through this process and often there is a deep sense of relief and expansion. After the movement there is usually a time for reflection through art or journaling. The work is done in the presence of a facilitator or "witness" who then helps reflect back what the movement expresses and this leads to deeper integration toward a more complete self-knowing.

I also offer personalized yoga practices. This means you and I will talk about what is happening in your body and psyche currently and develop a practice that best supports you right now. The tools of yoga, meditation and breath offer you access to self-inquiry that encompasses body and spirit.
The journey to wholeness comes in many forms. We have found that incorporating a multi-faceted, creative, body and earth-centered approach to personal growth allows you to integrate your relationship to self, others and the natural world.  Having a facilitator or coach who is trained in witnessing you and reflecting back your body's movement and capacity is like having a new set of eyes. This way you will strengthen your own inner witness and begin to know from the inside how to move into healing whenever and however you want.
